B-TECH: A Groundbreaking Partnership in Broadcast Technical Education

The International Alliance of Theatrical State Employees (I.A.T.S.E.) Local 100 and Pace University proudly introduce the B-TECH Broadcast Technical Educational Program, an innovative collaboration designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world industry experience. 

This pioneering initiative offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on training in Live Remote Sports Production, taught exclusively by industry professionals-active union members of I.A.T.S.E. Local 100. Through this program, students will immerse themselves in the techical craft behind live sports broadcasting, developing the skills and expertise necessary to thrive in this fast-paced, high-stakes industry. 

B-TECH is more than just a course-it’s a direct pathway into the professional world of broadcast production. By learning from working professionals, students will gain industry knowledge, technical and practical experience that align with the demands of the industry.
